The Loss Adjuster is appointed by your insurance company to process the claim on their behalf. They are retained and paid by them and will not compile the claim.
The Loss Assessors fees are payable by the policyholder and are not normally recoverable under the terms of the policy. Fees are charged on the basis of a percentage of the settlement amount and are agreed and confirmed in writing at the outset of the claim process.
